Lower
back pain

WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I am 66 years old and have had a history of back pain spanning 25 years.
In 1986 my back problem became more pronounced, with the intensity of
the pain increasing every successive year. The pain usually lasted for
7-8 days and occurred only once in a while.
It was in 1997/98 that the frequency of the attacks and duration and
intensity of the pain increased substantially. I could not get up without
support, found it extremely painful to negotiate steps or perform any
movement that involved climbing up or down. It was painful to sit and
even lying down in any one position was very difficult.
Ever since the worsening of my condition in 1986, I have consulted with
numerous medical specialists in Bhutan, India and Thailand and in New
York. The doctors attributed my pain to a degeneration in multiple places
of the bone in the spinal cord complicated by new growth in other places.
The net result was poorer circulation of blood and direct impact on
the nerves in the spine. I was also informed that surgery was recommended
only in life threatening situations given the risks involved. My condition
was attributed to the natural process of aging and that in effect, I
just had to live with it. The only relief I could seek boiled down to
taking pain-killing medication and no more.
Given the final verdict from the viewpoint of western medicine, I began
to seek other alternatives. Following suggestions from my family, friends
and other well-wishers, I tried a range of remedies including massages
with herbal oil, hot spring baths, homeopathy and ayurvedic treatment.
Finally, I received advice to try Chinese Acupuncture treatment. It
was at this point that I met a well-trained Chinese doctor.
At that time I was able to have only two sittings with her on account
of pressures of my work. She told me then that since my back problem
was over 25 years old, she would need at least 6 months to treat it.
She added that had it been detected earlier, the time needed would have
been correspondingly less.
I was able to return to her for acupoint -injection therapy (AIT) only
in March, which lasted nearly 3 months. AIT essentially consisted of
direct herbal and vitamin injections on the affected parts through various
points and the application of acupuncture and cupping techniques. The
aim was to improve the circulation of blood, release pressure and simultaneously
prevent degeneration and induce regeneration or strengthening of the
bone.
While I don't know much beyond that in terms of the theory of what was
being done, what I do know is that within the space of one month, I
was able to stand up without assistance and go for walks in the park.
By the end of the third month, I was able to enjoy long walks without
pain, something I had had to miss for quite a while. I was unable to
stay for the full 6 months on account of work pressures, but I was able
to return for another 3 months of treatment starting in December.
Now, in March next year, I find AIT has given me complete relief from
pain. I now enjoy my long daily walks, feel physically fit and lead
a normal life. What has been an added bonus is that I no longer need
pain-killers - medication that hardly helped in alleviating the pain
but was gradually affecting the rest of my body. In effect, the treatment
I received has not only addressed my back pain, it has lead to an improvement
in my overall health.
In recalling the painful nature of my condition prior to receiving this
treatment, I sincerely recommend AIT to anyone having a problem like
mine. I am extremely grateful to her and stand as testimony to the effectiveness
of her treatment.
Signed,
Lam

WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
9th June
My name is Mr. Kitti , I fell down 10 years ago. Later I had troubles
with my back and legs. After that, I was in pain continuously. Then
I went to see a doctor. He gave medicine and injections. He said that
I had a back nerve problem and it would take time to cure. Sometimes
I felt better, sometimes I felt very bad. Until February this year,
I had a severe hip-ache on both sides. I could not walk and also had
a leg-ache on the left side at night. I suffered very much and could
not sleep well. Then I went to see a doctor in the famous hospital .
A doctor advised me to have a computer x-ray. The doctor informed me
of the x-ray result - that my backbone pressed on my nerve deeply. He
suggested that I have an immediate operation, or I may not be able to
walk anymore. However, one my friends introduced me to try AIT with
Chinese doctor. He told me that a well-trained Chinese doctor uses ancient
Chinese herbs and vitamins using injections into different points on
the body. I hoped that this kind of curing would help me from my pain
since it was the last alternative for me before taking the operation.
I am now a patient of AIT and have been since 22 March.
As of now, I am getting better and better. I can walk with no pain and
I can sleep well.
Finally, I think that my case is a good example as a case study and
hope that it can give some benefit to other patients who suffer like
me. I would like to extend my thanks to AIT that has healed me from
my long-suffering pain. This note I write in all honesty and would like
to thank AIT again.
Signed,
Kitti
Follow-up:
Dear
Sirs,
Further to my previous letter regarding my witness of AIT- a ancient
Chinese medicine, I would like to continue sharing with you the results
of the treatment for my backache.
Last week I had an x-ray of my back. The result of the x-ray showed
that the connection between the 3rd, 4th and 5th vertebrae are now in
the proper positions. It is a good sign, and proves that it is not necessary
any more to have an operation as advised by one doctor previously. I
am getting much better than in the past. I feel comfortable walking
and I can sleep well.
Once again I would like to extend my thanks to AIT that helped cure
me from my ill-health.
Yours
Sincerely, Kitti .
