Diabetes
From the above table, there were 6 Type II diabetic patients , before they received AIT, they were taking many chemical drugs for diabetes (some take 2, and one even takes 7 tablets). The mean for the number of drugs being taken by the 6 patients was 3 tablets, but Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) counts were still high (from 132 to 290). The mean for FBS before AIT treatment was 223.8. We started combining the chemical drugs with AIT for the first treatments. When the patient's blood sugar was under better control, the chemical drugs would be reduced -- from one course (30 AIT treatments) to 4 courses (the mean was 80 treatments). All the patients' drugs were reduced. Some patients even stopped taking chemical drugs altogether (the mean of chemical drugs taken dropped from 3 tablets to 0.3 tablet). In addition, the FBS is under much better control (the mean FBS dropped from 223.8 to 142.6). This
indicates that AIT is an effective treatment in combination with conventional
