PATIENT'S
HISTORY:
Female, 52 years old. The patient had had an operation to remove her ovaries
5 years previously. No hormones were replaced afterwards. The patient
started to have back pain 2 years ago. The pain became more and more serious,
so she began taking pain killers constantly. Physiotherapy could not help.
Finally, the doctor decided to operate on her. She was worried about the
operation, until one of her friend recommended her to try AIT for 10 days
before operation. She decide to try AIT for ten days intensively before
her the operation date, and then she could make her mind which way to
go later, operation or continuing AIT. After ten days of AIT treatment,
the patient felt that her pain was much relieved, so she postponded her
operation, but continued further AIT treatment for 3 months. The patient
is much better now. She even took a 10-day long trip, walked a lot without
any pain-killer, and experienced very little pain after she came back
home. In addition, her general health condition is much improved. So she
refused the operation.
The X-rays showed a significant improvement after 3 months.

acupuncture points to improve blood circulation to spine and strenghten
soft tissueand muscle around spine to support the spine.
