Heart Disease

Rheumatic Heart Disease:

Case 1.

Female, 31 years old, I've suffered from rheumatic heart disease for years. Whenever I catch cold, my heart will get worse for some time. Over the last two years things were getting worse. I had to take more medicine, work less and reduce activity. Even so, my situation still goes down. I get tired very easily, cannot go to work, both feet become swollen often. Finally, a heart doctor decided to arrange an operation for me to replace my heart valve with an artificial valve. However my body was too weak to stand the operation, so the doctor hoped that in 2 months my body would be strong enough for the operation.

I requested acupoint injection therapy ( AIT ) to make me strong enough to bear the heart operation. Acupoint injection therapy ( Chinese herbs and vitamins directly injected into acupuncture points ) to treat . After one week I felt better, more energy , I also ate and slept better. So I continued the acupoint injection therapy ( AIT ) for one and a half months. I felt everything is much stronger, so it was time for me to go to the hospital to get a check up before the operation. After all the details of the check up were finished, the result showed my heart was almost normal ! The doctor said it was not necessary to operate at all. So I came back home without an operation and without medication. Thanks to AIT to let me avoid operation.

Case 2.

Female, 36 years old, I've suffered from rheumatic heart disease for two years. The doctor in the hospital prescribed some drugs for me, I felt that my body could not bear the drugs, they made me sick all the time. So the doctor said if I could not take medicine, then I should consider to try to have an operation.

My friend asked me to try Acupoint injection therapy( AIT ), whether this treatment could help me or not, I didn't know, I had no choice, but to try. I tried two weeks first. Chinese herbs and vitamins were injected into special acupuncture points. After one week (twice daily treatment ), I definitely felt better. So I continued on for two more weeks of treatment. My general condition is much improved. I can work much better, my heart hasn't bothered me for more than half a year so far. I haven't even caught cold for a long time. This is very important for me. If I have chance I still try to get AIT once in a while to maintain my health. Thanks for AIT , a wonderful treatment.

Dr.'s comments:

The patient suffers from rheumatic heart disease. The mitral valve is damaged severely. The tricuspid and aortic valves are also damaged and so they cannot close or open completely. This then causes regurgitation and stenosis. The heart has to work harder and yet achieves less.
In this case, western medicine treatment is to use ACE inhibitors to reduce the load on the heart. The patient has to rest more to let the heart work less. But the less work the heart does, the weaker the heart muscles (myocardium) become, until they cease to function. This then requires replacing the valve with an artificial one. Whether such a replacement will work is difficult to predict. Many patients need several operations and even then normalcy may not be attained. In fact, each surgery will lead to a further deterioration in the patient's overall condition.
So is there any way to strengthen the heart and stimulate the muscles and valves to work better? YES, there is. In the practice of ancient Chinese acupuncture, we inject traditional herbs and vitamins combined with the stimulating effects of acupuncture needles. The needles and injections are applied to special points on the body that together stimulate the heart muscle to work better and improve blood circulation to the myocardium. This increases the supply of essential nutrition to the organs. This treatment benefits not just the afflicted organ, but the entire body in the process. This is very important for the patient's disease because a stronger constitution will help stave off colds. Rheumatic Heart Disease can be seriously aggravated by colds. I have successfully treated many patients suffering from this disease. Now they are healthy and enjoy normal activities without medications or an operation.

How long will the treatment take?

This depends on how long the patient has had the disease, how serious the condition is and the age of the patient. Normally the patient can feel somewhat better within one month. The situation can be stabilized within three months. I cannot determine how long a complete cure will take until I see the patient in person. I need to treat the patient for a while to gauge how the patient's body responds to the treatment.
