Case 1:

Problem: Local epilepsy on the face
The patient is a 44 year old female, working for a bank. At the beginning the area below her right eye began twitching, moving down to the cheekbone and pulling towards the right edge of her mouth. The symptoms have persisted since then.
she went to see a doctor in the hospital and was prescribed the following medication:
1. DEPAKINE 200mg. - 2 tablets 3 times a day after meals.
2. RIVOTRIL 0.5 mg. - 1 tablet 2 times a day after breakfast and dinner.
3. TEGRETOL CR 200mg. - half a tablet after breakfast, 1 tablet after dinner.
She has been taking this medication for over a year. While taking these medicines, she suffered side-effects of hair loss, irregular menstruation, shaking hands, drowsiness, unsteady walk, memory loss, frequent mistakes at work, quivering lips while talking, an inability to write properly due to trembling hands, and falling asleep while driving. And despite taking the medication, the original symptoms persisted.
She requested to try AIT, she was treated with herbal point injections and acupuncture about 3 times a week. After 2 weeks of treatment, Dr. began reducing the dosage of the medicines she was taking.
